➤ Cannoli is a caregiver! From the day we brought her home, she helped take care of Waffle, my other cat, who was slowly declining and soon passed. She also takes care of me! She knows when I need to take my medication, and she will remind me. I have ADHD so I will get hyper focused and forget to do things like eat. She will notify me.
WHAT ARE A FEW OF CANNOLI’S FAVORITE THINGS?
➤ The old beat-up mouse that has a stuffed head and a flat body that you’re supposed to put catnip in. I have bought others like it, but it’s like a baby’s favorite teddy bear. Only the one will do! She also loves to play baseball. I toss her pompom balls, and she hits them back to me.
DOES CANNOLI HAVE ANY FUNNY QUIRKS?
➤ She has learned to say “hello” very well and does it to wake me up or if I am ignoring her. She will follow me from room to room. She must be in the same room as me, unless someone else is in the house. Then she is nowhere to be found! If she does not trust you, you would never know I have a cat.
