WHAT MADE YOU WANT TO ADOPT SHEBA?
We’ve always had dogs. Mine have all been rescues. We were fostering Sheba and fell in love with her. So happy to be her forever home.
TELL US WHAT YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT HER PERSONALITY.
Her affection is endless; she loves to give kisses. She’s incredibly entertaining and full of energy. Watching her play fills me with joy and reminds me how thankful I am for the gift that she is to us. I think animals make us better human beings.
WHAT ARE A FEW OF HER FAVORITE THINGS?
She loves to bring her toys to us so that we play with her. Tug of war is her favorite. Barking at and chasing the birds that come into our backyard. Every evening, she insists (with a whine) on sleeping on my lap when I sit on the sofa.
DOES SHEBA HAVE ANY FUNNY QUIRKS?
She loves food! I dropped a piece of romaine lettuce, and she snatched it up and ate it before I could pick it up. Now, every time I make a salad, she whines until I give her a piece of lettuce! She is incredibly smart, she knows all of her nicknames (about five) and the names of all of her toys.
