Pacsun Launches First Eyewear Collection

Anaheim-based Pacsun is launching its first sunglasses collection as part of the apparel company’s efforts to expand its exclusive offerings.  

“Launching our first dedicated eyewear collection is another step forward for the Pacsun brand,” Chief Merchandising Officer Richard Cox said. “We’ve built our identity around youth culture, and now we’re evolving alongside that community as their personal style becomes more intentional.”  

The first drop includes four core silhouettes of sunglasses in several colors, no visible logos, retailing at $60. 

Cox added that Pacsun is heading “toward a more elevated, design-driven expression of the brand.” 

Chief Executive Brieane Olson reported in April revenue growth across all channels at the company. Pacsun counts more than 400 employees in Orange County, up 7.4% from a year ago, with 5,583 companywide.
