While the group lineup was not born of frustration, it has changed over the years, both Tim Booth and Jim Glennie have remained as constant members. During the 80’s, the rock group shared the stage with renowned British acts such as New Order and the Smiths.
It was not until the 90s that James gained popularity with four top 10 singles on the UK Charts, and international fame from “Laid.” Their other top three hits were the anthemic “Sit Down,” the emotive “Come Home,” and the vibrant “She’s a Star”
