Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties (PPOSBC) is proud to announce Krista Hollinger as the organization’s new incoming President and CEO. Hollinger, a longtime healthcare leader and PPOSBC’s current COO since 2021, will assume the role on July 1, 2025, after retiring President and CEO Jon Dunn officially steps down after 31 years of dedicated service on June 30.
As COO, Hollinger has led the expansion of a number of services at PPOSBC health centers, including the implementation of “opt-out” testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), which has significantly decreased syphilis cases in cities with a PPOSBC health center; enhanced staffing on weekends to better serve patient needs; and PPOSBC’s Abortion Aid program, which helps out-of-state patients forced to travel to California for abortion care.
Previously, Hollinger served as the Chief Administrative Officer for Obstetrics and Gynecology at UC Irvine Health, and in administrator roles at St. Jude Heritage Healthcare and UC Irvine School of Medicine. Prior to that, her public health career actually began at PPOSBC, where she served as a program manager and grants manager before earning her Masters in Public Health with an emphasis in Health Administration from UCLA Fielding School of Public Health.
