Five L.A. County men were arrested after burglarizing a Tesla dealer in Irvine

On Sunday morning, the Irvine Police Department got a call about masked burglars entering the Tesla dealership on Jamboree and stealing items from inside.

The Irvine Police reported that they “responded faster than the Energizer Bunny” to the location and surrounded it.

Moments later, the suspect vehicle exited the parking lot with five people inside.

Officers were “shocked” to find ski masks, gloves, and $10,250 worth of stolen charging equipment had been removed from the building.

The police also reported that they are positive that no white Teslas were harmed during the incident!

The following suspects were CHARGED with burglary and conspiracy and booked at Orange County Jail:

  • Sherweden Carldewis JeanBaptiste, 20, Los Angeles
  • Jamire Anthony Richardson, 18, Paramount
  • Louis Rydell Allen, 20, Hawthorne
  • Yguervens Coles Chaleston, 19, Los Angeles
  • Kody Royal McNally, 20, Baldwin Park

Thugs from Los Angeles County continue to come to Orange County to rob our businesses and residences. However now that Prop. 36 passed they will be facing serious prison time. And committing these crimes in Orange County is an awful idea as our OCDA, Todd Spitzer, is happy to throw the book at these criminals. And if they expected to get away with this in Irvine, well that was quite a mistake…
