PORTOLA 88, MISSION VIEJO 81: Portola’s senior guard Brady Kim had a school record 52 points to help the Bulldogs even their record at 1-1. Max Paulsen had 18 points with four 3-pointers, Colby Sako had 10 points with two 3-pointers and Tyler Nong had 13 points for the Bulldogs.

CREAN LUTHERAN 73, OAKWOOD 44: The Saints opened the season with a win Wednesday night. Jacob Majok had 22 points and 12 rebounds, Will Malual 14 points and seven rebounds and Hunter Caplan nine points and two assists to lead the Saints.

EL DORADO 62, DANA HILLS 53: The Golden Hawks were led by Caleb Hendrix, Marcelo Gonzalez and Noah Barker who had 11 points each and Elias Rodarte, who had 10 points. El Dorado (1-1) is back action Friday at 3:10 p.m. vs. Newport Harbor at Santa Ana.
CHINO HILLS 70, NEWPORT HARBOR 61: Newport’s Jack Berry led all scorers with 30 points.

TUSTIN 69, AYALA 29: The Tillers won their season opener Wednesday night. Brady Kong had 13 points, Terrelle Morales had 11 points and nine rebounds, Yuri Klines had 11 points and Ethan Contreras had 10 points, 10 assists and five steals to lead the Tillers.
TARBUT V’ TORAH 79, SANTA ANA VALLEY 35: The Lions (2-0) were led by Ari Varon, who had 33 points. Jake Coblentz-Brown with 20 points and 20 rebounds and Graydon Carpet had a triple double with 10 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists.
