Irvine players prepare for Friday night’s CIF Division 8 quarterfinal game. (PHOTOS: Fernando M. Donado, For OC Sports Zone).
Irvine and Salesian football teams battled until the final minute Friday night in the quarterfinal round of the CIF Division 8 playoffs at Irvine Stadium.
Salesian won the game 20-10 to advance into the semifinals Friday night.
