Two armed suspects injured a woman while stealing her purse near a bank in Santa Ana

In a recent incident at a Wells Fargo bank, two suspects spotted a victim with a designer purse and tracked her as she withdrew cash, according to the SAPD.

They followed her to a second location, where the male suspect tried to grab her purse, dragging her toward their vehicle. When the victim resisted, the female suspect displayed a handgun, forcing her to let go of her purse. Both suspects fled in a silver, new model Hyundai Santa Fe SUV.

The suspects are described as:

◾ Suspect #1: Male, Black, approximately 6’0″ tall, late 20s to early 30s, medium build.
◾Suspect #2: Female, Black, approximately 5’6″, mid-20s.
