Two organized retail thieves found out the easiest way to “highlight” yourself on a cosmetic store security camera is to use a mask as a “concealer” to hide your face.

On Saturday, Irvine Police Department Spectrum officers partnered with Sephora’s loss prevention and Spectrum Security to catch these two as they exited the cosmetics store with nearly $2,000 of stolen beauty products.

After being stopped by the police officers, the female tried her best to “cover up” her crime by running back inside the store to dump the stolen merchandise but was quick to “blush” when our officers let her know all her actions were captured on the store’s surveillance.

Ricadona Nitu, 35, of Anaheim, was arrested for burglary, conspiracy, and outstanding warrants. Her partner in crime, Voinea Nitu, 18, also from Anaheim, was arrested for burglary and conspiracy.

Both were transported to Orange County Jail.

Nitu is a surname found most commonly in Romania, according to Surname.Es.
