E-bike and retail thieves nabbed by the police in Huntington Beach

Earlier this week, police officers responded to a reported stolen e-bike, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department.

The thieves didn’t realize the bike had a tracking device, so it wasn’t long before the police officers found it—along with the suspects.

Of course it turns out the suspects had more than just the stolen e-bike. The suspects were also carrying checks not belonging to them, narcotics and burglary tools.

Both of the suspects also had outstanding warrants. They were given a one-way ticket to the HBPD jail. They should not have committed crimes in Huntington Beach!

But the fun didn’t stop there. While on proactive patrol, police officers spotted a man walking out of a retail store’s emergency exit with merchandise in hand.

When the police officers approached, the suspect decided to test his luck and run. Well, it didn’t go as he planned as the officer in pursuit caught up to him.

After a quick investigation, the suspect was arrested for theft and other charges.
