The police arrested an O.C. auto theft suspect and seized his drugs and burglary tools

While on patrol at around 2 a.m., police officers spotted a stolen vehicle parked at a local business, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department.

After formulating a quick plan, the officers approached the driver and arrested him without further incident.

It should come as no surprise that the officers found drug paraphernalia and burglary tools sitting in plain sight inside the stolen vehicle.

The suspect was booked for grand theft auto, possession of burglary tools, and drug paraphernalia.

The stolen car was returned to its rightful owner, and the suspect was given a one-way ride to the HBPD jail.
