Grammy Award-winning recording superstar Bruno Mars will be the first performer to take the stage at Intuit Dome when it opens this summer.
“Bruno Mars, the unstoppable global hit machine, will return to Los Angeles following a six-year hiatus for the special grand opening performances of Intuit Dome in Inglewood,” a news release states. “The multi-talented, 14-time Grammy-winning showman is set to play two monumental back-to-back opening night shows.”
The $2 billion privately financed arena in Inglewood will open its doors to the public for the first time for these upcoming performances on on Aug. 15 and 16.
Tickets go on sale April 11 through Live Nation.
The 17,700-seat arena is the future home of the Los Angeles Clippers and promises to be the most “technologically advanced” venue of its kinds. Seats have more legroom — including some that have climate control — a massive 38,000-square-foot double-sided “halo” board gives an unprecedented view of the action, and the arena is stocked with more toilets and urinals than any other indoor arena in America.
August will be a jam-packed month for Intuit Dome.
Following Bruno Mars’ two concerts, the arena will host comedian Sebastian Maniscalco on Aug. 17, the Summer Nights Worship Tour with Brandon Lake and Phil Wickham on Aug. 22, and Twenty One Pilots will perform on Aug. 27 and 28.
Usher, Weezer and Billy Joel are among the other big name acts to take the stage in Inglewood in the months to follow.
The Clippers will host their first games at their new home arena in the fall and season tickets are already on sale for the team’s inaugural season. The arena will also host the 2026 NBA All Star Game.
