All of the Ryan Lemmon Invitational baseball games scheduled for Saturday, March 30, were postponed due to rain and a revised schedule has been announced for Monday, April 1, according to tournament director Dick Owens.
A record 36-team field is participating in the tournament, presented by Guy Lemmon’s Ryan Lemmon Foundation.
Two games were played at other locations Friday, including the Pacifica vs. Yorba Linda game.
In Monday’s revised schedule, most games are scheduled for the Great Park while other games are planned at high school ballparks, weather permitting, Owens said. An evaluation of field conditions is planned Monday morning, Owens said.
The six games planned at high school fields on Monday, all at 1 p.m.: Northview at Mission Viejo, Segerstrom at Capistrano Valley, Corona Centennial at El Toro, Camarillo at Dana Hills, Marina at University and Crean Lutheran at Esperanza.
Games Monday at the Great Park include Foothill vs. Woodbridge at 5 p.m. and Ayala vs. Canyon at 8 p.m. in the stadium.
The schedule for Tuesday remains the same and Wednesday will be the official final day of the tournament. Wednesday’s schedule will be announced after Tuesday’s games are completed.
Improving weather conditions are expected beginning Monday.
