The love story between Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce is being taken to the friendly skies.

As the Chiefs gear up to take on the San Francisco 49ers at Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas, American and United Airlines have created special flights as a nod to the couple’s relationship.

And nobody had to wish on a plane to make this come true.

American has added two flights with the number 1989 from the Kansas City International Airport (MCI) to Las Vegas International Airport (LAS); 1989 is Swift’s birth year and the name of her fifth studio album, which she re-recorded in 2023.

Swifties can hop on the flight from Kansas City to Sin City on Feb. 9 and 10.

“You could say that after [Sunday’s] games, we are in our football era, and we are thrilled to provide additional direct flights from Kansas City to Las Vegas,” American Airlines told The Associated Press in a statement. “To our customers who are huge sports fans, look what you made us do.”

The airline is also offering Flight 87, which is dedicated to Kelce’s jersey number, from Vegas to K.C. the day after the Super Bowl on Feb. 12.

American is also paying homage to Chiefs quarterback Patrick by offering three Flight 15s, which is his number. One is from Kansas City to Las Vegas, two are returning from Vegas to the BBQ Capital of the World.

United Airlines is also getting in on the theme.

According to Variety, United added six special direct flights on Monday morning between Kansas City and Las Vegas the week of the big game.

In addition to their own Flight 1987, the airline also added Flight 2287, which references Swift’s popular song “22” and Kelce’s number.

It has also added Flight 1587, which honors both Kelce and Mahomes’ numbers.

The Chiefs and 49ers face off on Feb. 11.

The game will be broadcast on Fox and will be streamed live on Paramount+.
