Newport Harbor Harbor 71, Costa Mesa 39: The Sailors (4-2) won their tournament opener Monday at Loara. Jack Berry led the Sailors with 18 points. Newport Harbor meets Western Wednesday.
Irvine 60, Norwalk 53: The Vaqueros (5-2) were led by Jason An, who scored 15 points. Irvine plays Sunny Hills Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Garden Grove.
