Metrolink is conducting nighttime and weekend railroad maintenance along the Orange County line between Santa Ana and Laguna Niguel to maintain safe and reliable train service.
When rail maintenance is being done, train conductors are required to sound their horns to alert workers. Although maintenance isn’t being done in Irvine, residents may hear horns from trains in Tustin. Work is expected to be completed in Tustin on October 23.
