The City of Irvine is preparing an update to its General Plan, a state-required document representing its vision for the next 25 years and beyond. The 2045 General Plan Update will include goals and policies to help the City reach its long-term vision of preserving and enhancing Irvine’s high quality of life as the City matures.
The General Plan Update’s success relies on input from community members, landowners, and other stakeholders to shape future planning vision and goals.
Two community workshops will be held for residents to learn more about the Update as we focus on the land use and circulation elements, ask questions, and provide input. The workshops will take place at the following times and locations:
Virtual:
Wednesday, May 24, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Virtual Meeting via Zoom
Registration is required here.
Open House:
Thursday, May 25, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Los Olivos Community Center
101 Alfonso, Irvine, 92603
Residents are encouraged to join the community workshops to learn about the General Plan Update, as well as future plans in the project schedule.
