The Aquarium of the Pacific is launching its “Connecting to Nature” photo contest and invites you to share a photo highlighting your connections to nature in Southern California. Suggestions include your favorite parks, beaches, hikes, dive sites, wildlife viewing, or even your own backyard… anywhere you connect to nature. Submissions must be received no later than April 10, 2023. Submissions are limited to one per person.

The top ten photos will be featured in an exhibit at the Aquarium from May 26 through December 31, 2023, during the nonprofit Aquarium of the Pacific’s 25th anniversary celebration.

The first-place winner will receive $500, second place will receive $250, and third place will receive $100. The contest is available to anyone living in the United States, except those noted as excluded on the contest rules page such as employees, volunteers, and board members of the Aquarium of the Pacific. The contest is sponsored by the Aquarium of the Pacific.

Visit the Aquarium’s photo contest link and complete all required fields, including a link to your image file. By entering a photo you are agreeing that you have full rights to the photo and permission from all those pictured to enter this contest.
