Garden Grove commissioner application deadline extended

The City of Garden Grove is seeking community members interested in becoming part of the City’s decision-making process, to serve as non-compensated commissioners. Commissioners serve as advisors and provide recommendations to the Garden Grove City Council. Applicants must be Garden Grove residents and registered voters, be able to serve a two-year term of office, and be available to attend regularly scheduled meetings. The deadline to apply has been extended to Monday, February 27, 2023.

Applications must be submitted by 5:30 p.m. on Monday, February 27, 2023 and may be submitted online at ggcity.org/commissions/applications or mailed to Garden Grove City Hall, City Clerk’s Office, at 11222 Acacia Parkway 92840. For paper applications, contact the City Clerk’s Office at (714) 741-5040.

City commissions include: administrative board of appeals; neighborhood improvement and conservation; downtown; parks, recreation, and arts; planning; traffic; and Measure O citizen’s oversight committee. Visit ggcity.org/commissions for a full description of commissions.
