It’s a Las Vegas show suitable for the whole family! The Las Vegas Review-Journal named LANCE BURTON the “Best Magician” 18 years in a row. The Los Angeles Times hailed, “Burton is a magic purist whose show is a loving homage to his craft.” See for yourself when the magic man returns to the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts (CCPA) with a new live show featuring a mix of illusions, sleight-of-hand, audience participation, and acclaimed guest stars. Since age 5, Burton was mesmerized by magic when he was invited onstage during a Christmas party to volunteer in a magic act. He entered his first competition as a junior magician at 1977 convention, claiming the grand prize. Shortly after his 20th birthday, Burton became the first winner of the coveted “Gold Medal for Excellence” from the International Brotherhood of Magicians. Burton won the grand prize at the 1982 FISM (Fédération International Société de Magie) competition in Switzerland, becoming the first American and the youngest performer to claim the honor. Burton was twice crowned “Magician of the Year” by the Academy of Magical Arts.

For three decades, he was a Las Vegas headliner, performing more than 15,000 shows for more than 15 million fans. He caught Hollywood’s attention, leading to appearances on

The Tonight Show With Johnny Carson, Late Show With David Letterman, The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, The View, and The World’s Greatest Magic. Burton also hosted specials for The History Channel, Discovery, Animal Planet, and The Family Channel.
