Scott Baugh announced key legislative endorsements in his campaign for the 47th Congressional District. Senator Janet Nguyen and Assemblymember Diane Dixon, who both overwhelmingly won their elections in November, represent the majority of the communities of the 47th Congressional District.
With far-left State Senator David Min officially announcing his campaign for the seat this week and other liberal politicians showing interest, Orange County will have a clear choice next year.
“Scott Baugh was outspent in 2022 by over $20 million and still came within a couple of points of defeating an incumbent. His candidacy in 2024 means our part of Orange County can once again have a representative in Congress who will protect taxpayers, secure our nation and defend our freedoms,” said Senator Janet Nguyen.
Assemblymember Diane Dixon added: “Scott Baugh is a tireless campaigner and relentless champion for Orange County and our common sense conservative values. We need him in Congress.”
The 47th Congressional District will be an open Congressional District with incumbent Katie Porter announcing her intention to run for the U.S. Senate. Undoubtedly the campaign for the 47th District will be one of the most hotly contested elections in the nation once again.
