On Tuesday, January 10, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Mandy Woo will present an online workshop on retirement plans for small-business owners, sponsored by SCORE.
This workshop is to help small business owners design and set up the proper business retirement plans for themselves and their employees to achieve retirement saving goals. This can be part of your benefit packages you can offer to attract, retain your key employees and be compatible among your peers.
You will learn or check in the following areas:
- General concepts for retirement planning
- Type of IRAs business can set up
- Type of defined contribution plans like 401k and 403b, profit sharing, safe harbor and solo 401k, etc.
- Type of Defined benefit plan like: cash balance pension plan
Mandy Woo has been a SCORE volunteer since 2006. Mandy, herself is a business owner, certified financial planner and educator. She has extensive years of experience in wealth preservation as well as strategic retirement, financial and tax planning for high net worth individuals, families and business owner since 2001.
