Startup Basics: Finances…and Next Steps by Bonnie Copeland will take place Friday December 9th | 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM.
You’ve got your business dream, an idea, and determination! What next? This workshop shows you how to evaluate your idea and decide whether to actually START your new business or expand one you already have. We’ll demystify critical terms like marketing channel, brand, target market that you’ll need to create a believable Business Plan or Business Model Canvas and guide you towards research resources.
Please allow 1-1/2 hours for this workshop and BEWARE…there will be homework! However, you’ll have a chance to sign up with your own personal SCORE mentor to help you ‘git ‘er done!

Bonnie Copeland, SCORE mentor, presents this workshop. Bonnie started and managed her own ski, arts-and-crafts and consulting businesses, worked for companies like Shell Oil and Disney, and helped hundreds of entrepreneurs with her common sense approach to business start-up and expansion. Although Bonnie has expertise in all aspects of small business operation, her emphasis is on planning, accounting and finance.
