Foothill edges San Juan Hills; Santa Ana, Northwood and Irvine also win

FOOTHILL 50, SAN JUAN HILLS 48: In a a battle of two defending CIF champions, Foothill won the game Monday night at Foothill. Carlo Billings had 20 points, six rebounds and two assists; Isaiah Bernard had 15 points and three rebounds and Danny Kennard had eight rebounds and three points to lead Foothill (1-0).

San Juan Hills, coming off a tournament championship at the Luis Macias Tournament, was led by Jack Tetley with 13 points and Rylan Kies with 11 points. The Stallions are 4-1 overall.

SANTA ANA 62, GODINEZ 23: Santa Ana (3-1) was led by Jack Rivera with 29 points, Emmanuel Lemus with nine points and 12 rebounds and Matt Rojas with seven points and six steals in the non-league game Monday. Santa Ana faces Pacifica Tuesday afternoon.

NORTHWOOD 89, SAVANNA 44: The Timberwolves (3-3) opened the Thanksgiving Tournament at Rancho Alamitos with a victory. Zaid Yunis had 23 points, Aditya Sheth had 17 points, three assists and two rebounds, Nicholas Kwan had 10 points and nine rebounds, Aidan Arnold had nine points and four steals, Sam Alegre had eight points and three assists and Ryan Abaye had eight points, seven assists, four rebounds and two steals

IRVINE 41, BUENA PARK 41: The Vaqueros (2-1) were led by Cooper Stearns, who had 11 points. Archit Raul had eight points and Antwan Dockery scored seven points.
