St. Irenaeus Health Ministry brings back in-person Giving Tree parties

Dust off your Santa hat! St. Irenaeus Health Ministry is pleased to offer in-person Giving Tree Parties this year, complete with Santa and caroling, at the five care centers we serve:

  • Anaheim Terrace Care Center
  • Healthcare Center of Orange County
  • Harvest Retirement
  • The Karlton Residential Center
  • Sunrise Senior Living, La Palma

We need your help to fill over 450 bags with suggested gifts so that each care center resident receives one. This is a great way to put a smile on the faces of those who need assistance with their activities of daily living.

There are several ways to support this project:

  • pick up a hand-decorated shopping bag near the altar at the St. Irenaeus Church by the Giving Tree Christmas tree beginning Thanksgiving weekend, November 26-27, and return the filled bag by Sunday, December 11
  • visit the St. Irenaeus website at sticypress.org, click on the Online Donations button, and click on the Giving Tree option (available 11/23-12/4)
  • write a check payable to St. Irenaeus with HM GIVING TREE written on the memo line and…
    • mail it to St. Irenaeus Church, 5201 Evergreen Avenue, Cypress, CA 90630 — or —
    • drop it off at the Parish Office — or —
    • put it in the collection basket at church. Please do not mail cash.
