October 10, 2022

Assist Outside Agency – 1:48 a.m. – 10100 block of Valley View St. – La Palma PD was involved in a vehicle pursuit southbound on Valley View that terminated in a parking lot.  Cypress officers assisted with a felony car stop and the detention of a female suspect.  No Cypress officers were involved in the pursuit. 
Grand Theft – 1:38 p.m. – 6300 block of Rosemary – Sometime overnight, an unknown suspect stole a Cannon T3 camera and accessories valued at $2800 from the victim’s unlocked car.

October 11, 2022

Probation Search – 2:46 a.m. – 5600 block of Lincoln Ave. – From a probation search at the location, two subjects were arrested for possession of methamphetamine. They were both cited and released in the field.
Arrest – 3:50 a.m. – 4600 block of Lincoln Ave. – From information gathered at the previous probation search, police conducted another probation check and arrested a male subject for possession of a controlled substance for sale, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and a felon in possession of ammunition. He was booked at Orange County Jail.
Grand Theft – 7:58 a.m. – 8800 block of Moody St. – Sometime overnight, and unknown suspect stole the victim’s bike and window tinting equipment/material from his carport. 

October 12, 2022

Community Event – 9:00 a.m. – 4500 block of Myra – Officers went to the school for a meet and greet with Pre-K students and discussed the role of a police officer.
Petty Theft – 11:35 a.m. – 5800 block of Lincoln Ave. – A Hispanic male suspect in his 20’s with tattoos on his face and wearing a blue baseball cap, blue shirt and black pants stole $200 worth of merchandise. When confronted, the suspect dropped the merchandise and fled in a black Honda driven by an Asian female. The vehicle came back to the city of Anaheim.
Pedestrian Check – 7:42 p.m. – Lincoln/Holder – From a pedestrian check, a male subject was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and Fentanyl for sale, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked at Orange County Jail.

October 13, 2022

Stolen Vehicle Report – 7:29 a.m. – 11600 block of Malden St. – Between last night at 11 p.m. and today at 6:00 a.m., an unknown suspect stole the victim’s white 2016 Kia Optima.
Battery – 12:42 p.m. – 5400 block of Katella Ave. – From a call for service of a battery,a female subject was arrested for improperly using pepper spray on a subject she claimed was trying to steal her purse. Surveillance footage did not support her statements and she has similar arrests in other jurisdictions. She was cited in the field.

October 14, 2022

Recovered Stolen Vehicle – 3:20 a.m. – 4100 block of Ball Rd. – While on a patrol check, police located an unoccupied stolen vehicle to the rear of the business. The vehicle was a silver Hyundai Sonata reported stolen out of Long Beach.
Vehicle Burglary – 4:06 a.m. – Via Entrada/Orange – Sometime between 2 p.m. and 4 a.m., the victim’s Ford F150 toolbox was pried open by unknown suspects. The loss was approximately $3000 in tools.
Property Damage – 2:40 p.m. – 9900 block of Walker St. – From a call for service of a baby locked in a vehicle, police arrived on scene and broke the vehicle window to allow access to the vehicle. Incident report taken.

October 15, 2022

Suspicious Vehicle – 5:19 a.m. – Rexford/Hampshire – From a call for service of a suspicious vehicle, arrested a male subject was arrested for being intoxicated in public. He was later transported to Orange County Jail.
Disturbance (Family) – 6:13 a.m. – 8800 block of Walker St. – From a call of a family disturbance, a male subject was arrested for violation of a restraining order. There were ongoing issue with this subject and his girlfriend knowingly violating a criminal protective order. He was transported to Orange County Jail for booking.
Commercial Burglary – 7:49 a.m. – 5600 block of Lincoln Ave. – While patrolling, an officer discovered the front glass door of the business was smashed and the cash register was in the open position. Surveillance footage showed one male subject entered at 4:42 a.m. and stole a credit card reader and some cash.

October 16, 2022

DUI – 12:40 a.m. – Valley View/Corporate – From a call for service, a male subject was arrested for DUI. He was absentee booked and transported to Orange County Jail.
Arrest – 4:30 a.m. – Lincoln/Grindlay – A Police Services Officer located a subject passed out behind the wheel and an officer arrested a male subject for DUI. He was absentee booked and transported to OCJ.
