October 6, 2022
Suspicious Subject – 7:03 a.m. – 5800 block of Shasta Cir. – A subject was reportedly disassembling cabinets or some kind of property in the middle of the street. The caller believed that it was suspicious and possibly stolen property. Police contacted the resident at the location, who advised that they left the property out for pickup.
Counseling – 10:31 a.m. – 5700 block of Fresca Dr. – The reporting party advised that containers stolen from the yard were now pinging in the City of Industry. Counseled.
October 7, 2022
Stray Animal – 1:27 a.m. – Amberwood/Ainsworth – A dog was reportedly chasing the caller on a bike. The dog then went into the year of a residence. The homeowner was notified.
Petty Theft Report – 8:43 a.m. – 8200 block of Sparrow Ln. – The tailgate was taken from a pickup truck. There was insufficient surveillance footage of the incident. No suspect information.
Burglary Report – 7:36 p.m. – 7800 block of Jennifer Cir. – The residence was reportedly ransacked between 4 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Report taken.

Disturbance (Music) – 8:35 p.m. – 5100 block of Decatur Dr. – The caller reported loud music at the residence since 6 p.m. Party advised and will comply.
October 9, 2022
Burglary – 12:20 a.m. – 4800 block of La Palma Ave. – A subject reportedly entered the back door of the business. Police responded to the location. Assistance was requested from Cypress Police Department. Police made entry and arrested a 66-year-old subject for Burglary. The subject was transported and booked at Orange County Jail.
Assist Other Department – 9:30 p.m. – Artesia/91 Fwy. – Buena Park Police was in pursuit of a vehicle int he carpool lane approaching Valley View. The occupant pitched something out of the vehicle window at Artesia. La Palma Police was requested to attempt to locate the item.
October 10, 2022
Traffic Stop – 1:43 a.m. – Walker/Orangethorpe – After attempting a traffic stop, police pursued a vehicle southbound Walker from Orangethorpe. The vehicle reached speeds of around 75 miles per hour during the pursuit. The vehicle went eastbound on Crescent to Valley View, then southbound on Valley View. A felony traffic stop was conducted in the parking lot southwest of the intersection of Valley View and Ball in Cypress. One female subject was detained, arrested, and transported. The vehicle was towed from the location.
Found Property – 7:26 a.m. – 8100 block of Redford Ln. – Four live bullets were reportedly found next to the vehicle. The reporting party picked them up and placed them on his vehicle.
Medical Aid – 10:19 a.m. – 8300 block of Walker St. – OCFA was en route for a possible overdose for a 28-year-old male subject who was unconscious but breathing. The subject was transported to the hospital. Police responded to the hospital regarding outstanding warrants and parole violations. The subject was arrested for felony parole violation, violation of a domestic violence court order, and an outstanding misdemeanor warrant. The subject was admitted to the hospital to be held overnight.
Fraud/Forgery Report – 5000 block of Toulouse Dr. – A charge on the reporting party’s account was made at Six Flags on Sept. 3. The loss was $483.80. The card was still in the possession of the reporting party and has been cancelled. Report take.
October 11, 2022
Pedestrian Check – 12:22 p.m. – 5400 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – Police contacted a female subject and performed a search. The subject was subsequently arrested for a bench warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge. The subject was transported and booked and was later released on citation.
Suspicious Vehicle – 4:42 p.m. – 5300 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – A vehicle was reportedly refusing to leave the property. Police contacted the occupants. Party advised and will comply and left the area.
October 12, 2022
Pedestrian Check – 12:17 a.m. – 5400 block of La Palma Ave. – Police conducted a pedestrian check and performed a search. A subject was detained in handcuffs. The subject was disheveled and possibly under the influence of drugs and appeared to be covered in feces. Two subjects were arrested: a 20-year-old male for a bench warrant for failure to appear and a 28-year-old male for possession of unlawful paraphernalia.
Traffic Hazard – 6:47 p.m. – Moody/Shirley – A large goose was reportedly in the roadway. Police made contact and determined that the goose appeared to have a neck injury. The goose was removed from the roadway and SEAACA responded to take possession of the goose.
Public Works – 10:01 p.m. – 7100 block of Rampart Ln. – A large amount of water was in the area. The water appeared to be coming from an address on Rampart, possibly from the rear yard or from washing a vehicle. Police spoke with the homeowner, who advised that they drained a small pool.
October 13, 2022
Area Check – 4:26 p.m. – 7900 block of Comstock Cir. – The caller advised that the power was out on the block. The reporting party was provided with the contact information for Southern California Edison. SoCal Edison was working on a circuit lockout in Buena Park. The cause was unknown. The power outage was affecting approximately 220 residents.
Theft By False Pretense – 8:43 a.m. – 4500 block of Patricia Cir. – The reporting party was reportedly scammed by an unknown subject who advised the RP that they would fix a virus on her iPad. The loss was $64,000.
October 14, 2022
Reckless Driving – 8:03 a.m. – 91 Fwy./Orangethorpe – A black Hyundai reportedly drove over the center divider eastbound on Orangethorpe and possibly got on the 91 Freeway. Buena Park Police and California Highway Patrol advised. La Palma Police were unable to locate the vehicle on an area check.
Petty Theft Report – 10:23 a.m. – 5400 block of La Palma Ave. – An 11-12-year-old suspect reportedly stole $30-40 worth of items on Oct. 13. The reporting party desired prosecution and had video surveillance.
