September 2, 2022

Vehicle Check – 7:37 a.m. – Centerpointe Dr. – The license plates on the vehicle were from a 90s model Ford F250. The truck was not registered at the hotel. A 61-year-old male subject was arrested for unlawful registration.
Disturbance (Party) – 11:01 p.m. – 8000 block of Danby Ln. – A loud house party was reported on Danby. Police made contact and issued a first response notice.

September 3, 2022

Grand Theft Report – 12:46 a.m. – 7700 block of Valley View St. – The reporting party requested to make a report for packages that they believed were stolen. The packages were supposed to be delivered a few days prior.
Suspicious Circumstances – 7:05 a.m. – 5800 block of Iris Cir. – A tented house was partially open and the reporting party did not see service vehicles or workers. Police located a fresh cut to the tent, possibly as part of a burglary. Police conducted a search of the residence with a drone. The suspects attempted to make entry through the front window via window smash, then attempted to pry open the front door. The suspects then made entry via cutting the tent at the rear and using a ladder to access a second-story window. The loss was four power tools valued at $700. Report taken.

September 4, 2022

Disturbance (Subject) – 5:12 a.m. – 5600 block of Orangethorpe Ave.- Multiple callers reported a male subject who hit a female. A neighbor advised that a father assaulted his daughter. A 67-year-old male subject was arrested for kidnapping.
Traffic Collision – 8:16 a.m. – Orangethorpe/Walker – Two vehicles were reportedly involved, with one rolled over. There were also a sheared hydrant and a damaged pole. Public Works was notified. Two tow trucks were requested for the vehicles. A SigAlert was requested. Edison was notified for the damaged pole. All lanes were reopened by 9:50 a.m.

September 5, 2022

Grand Theft Report – 4:18 p.m. – 4900 block of Malaga Dr. – A vehicle was broken into and ransacked via an unlocked rear passenger door between the day before at 7 p.m. and today at 4:05 p.m. The loss was a work bag with a laptop and miscellaneous items. Report taken.
Domestic Disturbance – 11:58 p.m. – 5700 block of Crestview Cir. – The caller’s girlfriend reportedly punched the caller. Police were unable to locate the suspect. Report taken.

September 6, 2022

Identity Theft Report – 4:43 p.m. – 8600 block of Santa Margarita Ln. – A Nordstrom account was reportedly opened under the reporting party’s name. Report taken.
Municipal Code Violation – 9:13 p.m.- 5300 block of Pembury Dr. – The reporting party advised that a male subject possibly urinated near the property. The subject had been drinking when previously contacted. The subject was gone on the arrival of police. The homeowner requested extra patrol checks during the overnight hours.

September 7, 2022

Neighbor Dispute – 12:36 p.m. – 7900 block of Louise Ln. – The reporting party requested contact due to an ongoing parking issue with a neighbor on Louise Lane. The RP advised that the neighbor would knock on his residence to tell him to move vehicles that were parked in front of her residence. The RP was also upset due to the neighbor “reserving” parking. The reporting party was advised of the limitation due to legal street parking. Counseled.
Counseling – 6:25 p.m. – 8500 block of Salisbury Ln. – The reporting party requested counseling regarding a neighbor and the Homeowners Association. Counseled.
Medical Aid – 9:51 p.m. – Walker/Orangethorpe – Several subjects were reportedly having trouble breathing at the location. The reporting party believed that an unknown substance was in the air. A second caller advised that a subject was possibly spraying Mace. Police contacted a subject vomiting in the grass. The subject advised that they had possibly been sprayed with pepper spray. Another subject stated that the suspect plays guitar. A backpack and guitar were located on the north side of the business. Pepper spray was located in the dumpster on the north side of the property. A second victim was located and also treated by Orange County Fire Authority. Police conducted a goof patrol of the area, including the flood control channel, in an attempt to locate the suspect. Police were ultimately unable to locate the suspect.

September 8, 2022

Pedestrian Check – 12:07 a.m. – 8500 block of Moody St. – Police contacted a male subject sleeping to the rear of the business. After conducting a search, police arrested a 55-year-old male subject on a bench warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge. The subject was booked and transported to Orange County Jail.
