Calvary Chapel High School’s football team is back in action Friday night facing Beckman in a non-league game at Tustin.
The Eagles (1-2) are coming off a 37-14 loss to Bellflower on Friday night in Bellflower.
“We fought really hard,” said Calvary Chapel Coach Jack McInally. “(Quarterback) Matt Peters had his best game and is getting better every week. We made a couple mistakes we wish we could get back, but that’s football. We are taking steps in the right direction.”
Friday’s game vs. Beckman (1-1) will be Calvary Chapel’s last game before opening Orange Coast League play on Thursday, Sept. 15 vs. Costa Mesa at Segerstrom.
