June 23, 2022

Petty Theft Report – 9:08 p.m. – 5900 block of La Palma Ave. – Subjects reportedly took razors, cream, shampoo, and fake nails. The reporting party had video surveillance. Report taken.

June 24, 2022

Spousal Abuse – 12:02 p.m. – 5400 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – A female subject was reportedly heard screaming. The reporting party stated that the female possibly needed paramedics. The male half left eastbound on Orangethorpe in a vehicle. Police cleared the interior of the residence. The victim had a large amount of blood loss. The suspect used a knife, causing blunt force and traumatic injuries. The subject was heavily intoxicated. The female was transported to the hospital. Orange County Crime Lab was requested to respond to the location for crime scene photos. An emergency protection order was granted. Report taken. The apartment was locked and secured.
Incident Report – 11:45 a.m. – 8200 block of Walker St. – Approximately ten subjects were reportedly involved in a physical altercation. The subjects had been separated. The principal advised that they would handle the incident internally. OCFA was requested for a complaint of pain. Report taken.

June 25, 2022

Area Check – 4:17 a.m. – Valley View/La Palma – Buena Park Police called to advise that they were working on a LoJack hit and requested that La Palma Police assist with an area check. Police located the vehicle parked unoccupied at Russell and La Reyna. Buena Park Police and Anaheim Police notified.
Transient – 6:45 a.m. – 5500 block of Fresca Dr. – A male subject was reportedly sleeping in the parking lot. The reporting party advised that his employees took the subject’s cellphone the day before. Party advised and will comply.

June 26, 2022

Suspicious Subject – 7:01 p.m. – 7821 Walker St. (La Palma Recreation Center) – Two subjects were reportedly yelling at park staff and had been seen possibly drinking in the park. Police subsequently arrested a 62-year-old male subject for an outstanding bench warrant for failure to appear on a felony charge. The subject was transported to Orange County Jail.
Suspicious Circumstances – 10:45 p.m. – 7300 block of Redwood Cir. – The reporting party stated that his house-sitter heard noises coming from the residence and that the dog was getting into areas that it shouldn’t. Police saw nothing suspicious in or around the residence, though the responding officer noticed a family of skunks that was possibly the source of the noise.

June 27, 2022

Assist Outside Department – 7:41 a.m. – Walker/Del Amo – Kittens were reportedly left in a suitcase. SEAACA notified.
Disturbance (Subject) – 9:15 p.m. – Moody/Crescent – A tow truck driver was reportedly attempting to take a picture of the caller’s ID without his permission. The caller was also trapped by the tow truck. Party advised and will comply.

June 28, 2022

Area Check – 6:14 a.m. – 4500 block of La Palma Ave. – A line was reportedly down in the caller’s backyard after sparking. An additional caller advised that the transformer was on fire. Edison was notified and stop signs were placed.
Disturbance (Fireworks) – 9:48 p.m. – Orangethorpe/Coyote Creek – The reporting party believed that fireworks were being set off in the creek. However, she did not see anyone lighting fireworks. Unable to locate.

June 29, 2022

Transient – 8:46 a.m. – 6800 block of Walker St. – Two male subjects were reportedly dumping property to the rear of the well.
Counseling – 5:15 p.m. – 8000 block of Lancashire Cir. – A subject reportedly damaged the reporting party’s vehicle’s tail light. The reporting party was unsure if she wanted to file a report but requested to speak to an officer.
