June 16, 2022
Reckless Driving – 3:21 p.m. – Moody/La Palma – A vehicle was reportedly cutting off others and driving on the wrong side of the road.
Assault/Battery – 4:03 p.m. – 5000 block of Cadiz Cir. – The reporting party’s ex-boyfriend reportedly punched the current boyfriend in the face and left in a vehicle. The boyfriend refused medics. Police were unable to locate the ex-boyfriend’s vehicle on an area check. Report taken.
Burglary Report – 9:26 p.m. – Centerpointe Dr. – The caller discovered the room ransacked. The incident occurred between 5:30 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. It was unknown how entry was made. The caller found the door open. The loss was electronics and other miscellaneous items. Police performed a safety sweep of the rooms. Burglary report taken.
June 17, 2022
Disturbance (Family) – 6:10 p.m. – 8200 block of Santa Margarita Ln. – The reporting party’s ex-husband was reportedly refusing to leave after an argument. The RP stated that the ex moved out a year prior. Police made contact and the parties were separated. The male half left. No crime and no threats. There had been a verbal dispute between the estranged couple regarding divorce proceedings. The female half did not want an argument to occur in front of the 8-year-old son. Both parties were advised.
Medical Aid – 8:09 p.m. – 7200 block of Bourbon Ln. – The victim was reportedly choking, not responding and not breathing. OCFA responded and performed CPR. The patient was breathing at the time of transport to the hospital. There was nothing suspicious about the incident.
June 18, 2022
Assault with a Deadly Weapon Report – 7:14 p.m. – The reporting party’s nephew reportedly struck the driver’s side rear window of the vehicle with a bat, which in turn cut her ear. Report taken.
Suspicious Circumstances – 11:06 p.m. – 7900 block of Lemonwood Cir. – Unknown subjects were reportedly shouting “Kill me” in front of the residence. Police made contact with an adult resident, the mother of the juveniles in question, who stated that they were yelling for no reason. No crime.
June 19, 2022
Found Property – 10:02 p.m. – 5900 block of La Palma Ave. – An unknown subject reportedly left IDs and credit cards at the store. A victim from the 6500 block of Valley View Street stated that her credit cards were used at the business. The business would prepare surveillance footage for police to view.
Disturbance (Party) – 11:25 p.m. – 8000 block of Hummingbird Cir. – A loud party was reported. Police made contact. Party advised and will comply.
June 20, 2022
Pedestrian Check – 6:28 a.m. – 5000 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – Police contacted a pedestrian, who was subsequently arrested for possession of a narcotic controlled substance and a bench warrant for failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge. The subject was transported to Orange County Jail.
Vehicle Burglary – 6:40 a.m. – 6500 block of Valley View Ave. – A vehicle suffered a window smash; the vehicle was ransacked and there were feces in the vehicle. It was determined that the incident occurred in Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department jurisdiction. Advised.
June 21, 2022
Foot Patrol – 9:45 a.m. – Walker/Coyote Creek – During a foot patrol, police contacted a subject, who was confirmed to have outstanding warrants out of San Bernardino. A 33-year-old male was arrested for bench warrants for failure to appear on misdemeanor and felony charges and possession of unlawful paraphernalia. The subject was transported to Orange County Jail.
Counseling – 3:15 p.m. – 5700 block of Parkwest Cir. – The reporting party requested counseling regarding a possible civil issue with a tax business. Police determined that based on the reporting party’s statements, it was a civil matter. Resources were provided and the subject was counseled.
June 22, 2022
Person Down – 1:35 p.m. – Edison Right-of-Way/Walker – A subject was reportedly either sleeping or passed out in the Edison Right-of-Way. Police made contact with a subject. A search was performed, and a subject was arrested for possession of unlawful paraphernalia. The subject was cited and released in the field.
Fraud/Forgery Report – 8:59 p.m. – 5000 block of Malaga Dr. – A possible online fraud reportedly occurred on June 22. The reporting party received a charge from Home Depot totaling $76.40. The bank had already refunded the reporting party’s account. The RP had a possible name and address of a subject in Omaha, Nebraska. Report taken.
