June 10, 2022
Suspicious Vehicle – 9:48 p.m. – 5600 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – The caller reported a vehicle with two different license plates on it. The caller also believed that the driver may be under the influence. Police located the vehicle and found that the front license plate matched the VIN and the temporary license plate also matched. The subject stated that he was security. The subject checked okay.
June 11, 2022
Traffic Collision – 3:51 a.m. – 4900 block of La Palma Ave. – The caller reported a possible DUI traffic collision involving a male subject who was passed out behind the wheel and possibly hit a palm tree. Police contacted the subject, who was subsequently arrested for DUI (alcohol) and obstruction. The vehicle was impounded and towed from the location.
Counseling – 8:18 a.m. – Elben/Cheshire – The reporting party found a photo on Elben between Lancashire and Cheshire. Assisted.
Grand Theft Report- 8:45 a.m. – 4400 block of Robin Dr. – A catalytic convertor was reportedly stolen from the vehicle overnight. The jack stand was still there. Report taken.
June 12, 2022
Found Property – 9:16 a.m. – 7792 Walker St. (La Palma Police Department) – The reporting party found a check in front of the Police Department. The check belonged to a subject out of Buena Park. Report taken.
June 13, 2022
Disturbance (Music) – 12:20 p.m. – 5100 block of Decatur Dr. – The caller reported loud music from a neighbor. The caller advised that she attempted to contact the neighbor but received no answer. Police contacted the neighbor, who advised that they would be turning off the music.
Trespassing – 12:50 p.m. – 5400 block of La Palma Ave. – A female subject was reportedly asking customers for money. The reporting party requested that police request the female to leave the area.
June 14, 2022
Abandoned Vehicle – 8:52 a.m. – 5100 block of Shirley Dr. – A black Toyota Camry was reportedly abandoned 10 days earlier according to the resident. Westminster Police was requested to attempt to contact the registered owner of the vehicle. THe vehicle was marked for 72 hours.
Suspicious Subject – 4:50 p.m. – 5700 block of Thelma Ave. – A subject was reportedly standing in front of the residence. The subject was unknown to the area.
June 15, 2022
Disturbance (Subject) – 10:13 a.m. – 8400 block of Moody St. – A subject was reportedly refusing to leave the business. The subject also urinated on the business door and was throwing food. Police made contact with the subject, who had no desire for resources or assistance. No prosecution was desired. Party advised and will comply.
Traffic Hazard – 9:24 p.m. – Crescent/Moody – Debris was reportedly in the middle of the roadway, potentially causing a hazard. Large items were removed from the roadway, and Public Works was notified for debris in the middle of the intersection.
