June 3, 2022

Threats Report – 9:36 a.m. – 4900 block of La Palma Ave. – A subject advised the reporting party that he would bring other men to fight him. Report taken.
Assist Outside Department – 10:23 p.m. – Orangethorpe/Walker – Buena Park Police requested assistance for a unit that had been involved in a traffic collision. A possible subject vehicle was driven by a male subject with a child in the vehicle. Assisted.

June 4, 2022

Assist Outside Division – 9:24 p.m. – 7500 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – La Palma Police assisted Buena Park Police with a disturbance call for a subject who appeared to be intoxicated. The subject had threatened to come back and shoot employees. Party advised and will comply.
Counseling – 10:51 p.m. – 5100 block of Banbury Cir. – The reporting party advised that she was receiving threatening emails. The RP advised that her landlord was threatening to evict her without cause. The RP was avised that this was a civil matter but still requested to speak to an officer. Advised on a civil matter.

June 5, 2022

Counseling – 5:01 p.m. – 7792 Walker St. (La Palma Police Department) – The reporting party came to the front counter crying and asked if she could wait in the lobby for her son in Menifee to pick her up. She advised that she did not want police contact. Checked okay.
Burglary Report – 7:53 p.m. – 5400 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – A carport storage closet was reportedly broken into sometime between midnight and time of call. The loss was approximately $1,000 in miscellaneous tools.

June 6, 2022

Counseling – 1:02 p.m. – 7700 block of Westra Ln. – The caller requested counseling regarding several topics of discussion, including traffic safety and young children crossing streets in the area.
Petty Theft – 2:38 p.m. – 5400 block of La Palma Ave. – A male subject reportedly took items from the business. Police contacted the subject; no prosecution was desired, only a trespassing admonishment. The subject had pork ribs, wine bottle, and bottle of Jameson. The items were returned to the business. The subject was arrested for bench warrants for failure to appear.

June 7, 2022

Welfare Check – 5:06 p.m. – 5400 block of La Palma Ave. – A subject was reportedly asking for money in front of the business and loitering in the dumpster area. Police contacted the subject, who had a sign requesting help he has kids, but he denied he had kids. The wife and kids came out, also with a sign, and it appeared that someone bought them groceries. Party advised and will complied.
Disturbance (Family) – 9:26 p.m. – 5200 block of Pembury Dr. – The caller stated that the subject stole medication. The subject was at the location and under the influence. The subject had reportedly attempted to physically assault the reportedly party. Incident report taken. Party advised and will comply.

June 8, 2022

Disturbance (Subject) – 6:15 p.m. – 5200 block of Pembury Dr. – The caller stated that his son was involved in a disturbance with the same subject as the previous night, and they challenged each other to a fight. Party advised and will comply.
Area Check – 8:31 p.m. – 5200 block of Pembury Dr.- The caller stated that a known subject was attempting to break into the residence, possibly in the backyard. Police were unable to locate the subject. No crime was determined.

June 9, 2022

Suspicious Occupied Vehicle – 3:12 a.m. – Windsong/Regency – A vehicle was reportedly stopping, with the passenger getting out and checking a residence before driving again. Police conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and requested a K9 unit for a search. Two field interview cards were filled.
Assist Outside Department – 4:27 a.m. – La Palma/Stanton – Orange County Sheriff’s Department was engaged in a pursuit in Buena Park. La Palma Police assisted with a drone.
