Rep. Michelle Steel issued the following statement after presenting twelve community leaders with awards in recognition of their leadership during Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month.
“The AAPI community in Orange County is truly remarkable, and we are fortunate to have such dedicated and talented leaders in our area,” said Rep. Steel. “I’m pleased to be able to recognize these outstanding individuals – especially during AAPI Heritage Month – for their contributions to our community and for being examples of distinguished citizenship for Southern Californians and all Americans.”
Rep. Steel presented the awards to the following twelve individuals at a ceremony in Fountain Valley on Wednesday, May 25, 2022:
