The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is scheduled to have the following closures for maintenance repairs:
Friday, May 6
- Southbound SR-55, Costa Mesa Freeway to southbound I-5, Santa Ana Freeway, full connector closure from 11:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.
- Eastbound/Westbound Fourth Street on-ramp closure to southbound SR-55 from 11:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.
Saturday, May 7
- Southbound SR-1 #3 lane closure from Golden Lantern to Doheny Park Road from 1:30 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. for drainage inspection.
- Northbound I-5 connector closure from Brookhurst Street (including NB I-5 HOV and WB SR-91 HOV) to the Orange/Los Angeles County Line from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for moving sweeping operation.
Caltrans appreciates the public’s patience while we perform this work. Electronic Changeable Messages Signs will notify drivers of the closure. The work schedule is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/or materials, and/or construction-related issues.
