April 25, 2022

Traffic Stop – 3:39 a.m. – Katella/Holder – From a traffic stop, a male subject was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia, burglary tools, and a parole hold.
Vehicle Burglary – 3:50 a.m. – 9700 block of Graham – Sometime between 10 p.m. and 3:40 a.m., an unknown suspect gained entry into the victim’s vehicle by smashing the rear window. The suspect stole bowling equipment valued at approximately $200.00.
Arrest – 3:28 p.m. – 5800 block of Lincoln Ave. – An officer observed a vehicle with two different license plates, one belonging to a stolen vehicle. A felony car stop was conducted and a male subject was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle, and felon in possession of a stun gun. A female passenger was arrested for a warrant.

April 26, 2022

Theft from a Vehicle – 11:21 a.m. – 6000 block of Lime – Sometime between 2:00 p.m. on Monday and 7:50 a.m. today, an unknown suspect stole the tailgate from the victim’s vehicle.

April 27, 2022

Vandalism – 9:45 a.m. – 5800 block of Newman St. – Between 6:30 a.m. and time of call, an unknown suspect shot the victim’s vehicle with a pellet gun, causing damage to the windshield and passenger side window.
Assist Other Agency – 10:27 a.m. – 8100 block of Gay – Officers assisted code enforcement with a walk-through of this residence to make sure there were no inhabitants. The residence has been court ordered to be rehabilitated due to health and safety hazards. A “NO TRESPASS” letter has been submitted and is on file.
Strong Arm Robbery – 1:30 p.m. – 6800 block of Katella Ave. – At approximately 8:40 a.m. today, a male subject was confronted when he cut the security tag off a laptop, concealed it and exited the store. The suspect shoulder-checked one employee and hit another employee in the hand to avoid being detained. The suspect was seen wearing a hat, sunglasses, a blue mask, a gray shirt with white under shirt, black jacket, blue jeans and black shoes. No injuries were reported.
Grand Theft – 6:38 p.m. – 10200 block of Valley View St. – The manager called to report that two male subjects entered the business and took $1000 worth of markers and pens. They fled in a white Honda Civic.

April 28, 2022

Traffic Stop – 7:00 a.m. – Lincoln/Valley View – Officers conducted a traffic stop and immediately encountered a subject who became uncooperative. He was arrested for felony resisting/threatening an officer.
Vehicle Burglary – 5:55 p.m. – 5700 block of Lincoln Ave. – Sometime between 5:00 p.m. and time of call, an unidentified suspect entered the victim’s vehicle via window smash.

April 29, 2022

Theft from Vehicle – 7:12 a.m. – 4000 block of Churchill Ct. –Vehicle Burglary – 11:06 a.m. – 5100 block of Orange Ave. – At 8:30 a.m., an unknown suspect burglarized two vehicles via a window smash, stealing a bag containing volleyball gear. The suspect was captured on surveillance footage.
Petty Theft – 11:16 p.m. – 5900 block of Corporate – The victim called to report that his laptop was stolen from his unlocked vehicle on April 29, 2022 at 0130 hours. Video surveillance from a tenant’s room captures the suspect riding through the parking lot on an electric scooter, holding the laptop. The suspect is described as a white male, 6’0 tall, 210 lbs. wearing a gray hoodie, black pants and sandals.

April 30, 2022

Traffic Collision – 7:43 a.m. – Colgate/Rutgers – While making a U-Turn in the complex, the driver lost control of the vehicle and collided into a residence, causing the window and wall to partially collapse.
Recovered Stolen Vehicle – 8:18 a.m. – 8200 block of Carob St. – From a call for service of an abandoned vehicle, a Police Services Officer recovered a stolen vehicle out of Lakewood (white 2006 Chev Tahoe).

May 1, 2022

Vehicle Burglary – 6:19 p.m. – 4400 block of Casa Grande – Occurred between last night at 9 p.m. and today at 6 p.m.. The point of entry was a front passenger side window smash. The loss was a FedEx scanner valued at $2,000.
Pedestrian Check – 6:45 p.m. – Lincoln east of Valley View – From a pedestrian check, a male subject was arrested for a warrant. He was booked at Orange County Jail.
