Woodbridge’s baseball team got a road victory Wednesday, defeating Laguna Hills 5-2 to remain tied for first place with Beckman in the Pacific Coast League standings.
Woodbridge and Beckman are tied for the top spot entering their final league games Thursday with 14-3 records.

“It was a good team win,” said Woodbridge Coach Ryan Brucker. “Dylan Blakey battled today and Justin Durby came on in relief. He pitched an outstanding four innings.
“We are looking forward to the chance to compete for the league championship tomorrow.”
Matt Kuromoto had two hits and an RBI, Kyler Collver had two hits and an RBI, Anthony De Marco had two hits and an RBI, Nate Perry had a hit and an RBI and Chase Quezeda had a hit and an RBI.
Woodbridge hosts Laguna Hills Thursday at 3:30 p.m. at Ryan Lemmon Stadium.
