For Arbor Day, come celebrate tree-planting together on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Little Cottonwood Park, 4000 Farquhar Avenue in Los Alamitos.

Trees help in many ways:

  • improved source of oxygen
  • enhanced quality of life
  • water storage
  • maintain soil fertility
  • absorb carbon dioxide
  • increase property values
  • Join the Public Works Division of the City of Los Alamitos in celebrating the importance of Arbor Day by planting a healthy tree at Little Cottonwood Park, adjacent to Joint Forces Training Base Los Alamitos.

For more information, please call the Development Services Department at 562-431-3538 or visit the City website at www.CityOfLosAlamitos.org.

In addition to planting a healthy tree on April 28, the City of Los Alamitos will give away a seedling for each family attending the Parklet Series – Party on Pine on Thursday, April 28 just before the concert (while supplies last).
