Illumination Foundation, a nonprofit organization with the mission to disrupt the cycle of homelessness, will host the “Together We Can: Solutions to Address Health Equity” consortium on April 19, 2022 at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, California.
The one-day event is focused on integrating effective solutions to lowering the barriers vulnerable populations experience in accessing healthcare, housing, education, and workforce development. Panelists from governmental agencies, nonprofit organizations, businesses, healthcare providers, private foundations, and educational institutions will hold solutions-driven conversations around inequity and inequality.
The consortium features keynote speaker Lisa Marsh Ryerson, President of AARP Foundation, a charitable affiliate of AARP focused on ending senior poverty, who will discuss health equity. Monica E. Oss, MS, Chief Executive Officer & Senior Associate, OPEN MINDS will provide a capstone address.
The consortium will include panel discussions on four critical areas: homelessness, public health and education, health equity, and policy. The panelists will discuss diversity, equity, and inclusion. Panelists include:
