California’s leading conservative donor organization, the Lincoln Club of Orange County, announced its endorsement of Steven C. Vargas for the 4th District Supervisor seat on the Orange County Board of Supervisors. Vargas has a wide range of public service under his belt, having been elected to Brea City Council in 2014 and recently serving as Mayor in 2021.

The Orange County Board of Supervisor’s 4th District includes Brea, Buena Park, Fullerton, La Habra, Placentia, Stanton, portions of Anaheim, and unincorporated communities.

Lincoln Club of Orange County President Teresa Hernandez issued the following statement:

“Vargas is the right candidate at the right time to protect our majority in the Board of Supervisors and flip a winnable seat.

The truth is out there in plain sight: crime is skyrocketing out of control in California. We need a fighter in public service with a record of being tough on crime. Given his background in military service and rank as a Lieutenant Commander, we’re certain that Vargas will provide real results for Orange County families concerned about their safety.

While Democrats quietly fund progressive candidates who turn a blind eye to crime in our state and compromise our county’s vitality, we’re proud to back a leader like Vargas in his bid for 4th District Supervisor.”
