Conservative outsider, small business owner, and former government advisor Jon Elist announced he collected over $120,000 since announcing his campaign for the United State Senate in California just over a week ago. Elist is prepping a bid to tackle failed career politician Alex Padilla. The Primary is June 7, 2022.

“I’m humbled and honored by the outpouring of support from people up and down the state. Every person I speak with utters the same thing: Our state and country have been moving rapidly in the wrong direction.”

Republican Jon Elist stated, “Gas prices are reaching record levels, yet Alex Padilla doesn’t have the courage to demand suspending the state and federal gas taxes. Crime is skyrocketing, yet again politician Padilla is silent on the recalls of extremist DAs Geroge Gascon and Chesa Boudin. Parents are besides themselves as they lose control over their ability to raise their kids, yet Padilla does nothing. That must change immediately, so I’m running for Senate to replace weak career politicians and help turn our country around. I’m not afraid to stand up to the political elite, even within my own party.”

Jon Elist has experience building and growing a successful small business and serving for years as an advisor to international, federal, state, and local governments.

“Elist is on fire. The campaign is powered by rocket fuel – angry parents – and Jon’s early financial support is yet another indicator of his momentum,” said Elist’s Chief Strategist John Thomas.
