ANAHEIM, Calif. (February 16, 2022) – Anaheim Police Department traffic investigators are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the driver of a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run collision.
On Thursday, February 10, 2022, an adult female in her 40’s was crossing eastbound on La Palma Avenue, in the marked crosswalk, at the intersection with Brookhurst Street. The female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle which fled the scene, travelling westbound on La Palma Avenue after the collision. The pedestrian was transported to a local area hospital with moderate injuries.
The involved vehicle is described as an Army green, or camouflaged colored Jeep, and described as looking like an off-road type vehicle. The driver of the vehicle is described as an adult male white or Hispanic in his late 20’s or early 30’s with a bald head and full beard. It is unknown if the vehicle sustained visible damage.
