This year our annual grand finale fundraiser concert is presented as a tribute to the career of Dean William D. Hall upon his retirement from Chapman University in August 2021 after a career that spanned almost 60 years. Dean Hall is a visionary leader: he is the founding dean of the College of Performing Arts and of Musco Center for the Arts, an internationally renowned choral conductor both at Chapman and with his professional choir, the William Hall Chorale.
During his time at Chapman, he toured extensively with the Chorale and conducted ensembles throughout the U.S. and abroad. The Hall-Musco Conservatory of Music at Chapman bears his name as a tribute to his contributions.
This concert will feature the combined forces of The Chapman Orchestra, Chapman Choirs, and winners of Chapman’s 2022 Concerto Competition.
