Honorees for the 2023 Americana Awards have been announced:
- Person of the Year: Liz Dunster
- Anaheim Citizen of the Year: Kay Carpenter
- Buena Park Citizen of the Year: Carol McCann
- Cypress Citizen of the Year: Sandie McCarthy
- Garden Grove Citizens of the Year: David and Janice Skelton
- La Palma Citizen of the Year: Mike Belknap
- Los Alamitos Citizen of the Year: Nesi Stewart
- Seal Beach Citizens of the Year: Daren and Kori DeLeon
- Stanton Citizen of the Year: Brian Donahue

Opportunity drawing
An opportunity drawing will include a pair of electric bicycles and other prizes valued up to $10,000.
The suggested donation per ticket is $50, and only 300 tickets are available.
The drawing will be held on March 11, 2023 at the 48th Annual American Awards — the need not be present to win.
